Kpalime
It is a tranquil and sublime area in the country. It is a nature lovers abode with lush, green tropical rainforest, colorful butterflies and cocoa plantations all around. There are many hiking trails around this town to Mount Agou.The town has German colonial relics and also some European-style church spire to explore along with colorful markets with traders selling local handicraft, religious trinkets and voodoo wood carvings.
Koutammakou
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Koutammakou is a region with rustic villages that gives a glimpse into the lives of tribal people who fled during the time of the Slave Coast. The region offers some breathtaking sights of the undulating hills with greenery and mud-cracked bushlands.
Keran National Park
Located in North Togo, Keran National Park was established in 1971 to safeguard the Keran National Reserve and Oti reserve. A nature lover would enjoy visiting the Keran National Park which is home to African elephants, olive baboon and Nile crocodiles along with some waterbirds like crowned cranes and black stork.
Lake Togo
Located close to the capital city of Lome, Lake Togo is the center for voodoo culture with many voodoo ‘fetishes’ found in the villages. It has shallow waters making it ideal for water-sports. You should take a boat ride along the lake and also visit the ancient German Cathedral and shrines along with the traditional museum of the King of Togoville.

It is renowned for its local bazaar where you can get local handicrafts and artifacts along with cocoa products. There are many palaces and museums to explore as well including; the National Museum exhibiting local jewelry, masks,pottery and musical instruments. People interested and intrigued by voodoo can visit the Akodésséwa Fetish Market where voodoo items such as animal skulls and skin are sold.
